Looking for a quiet holiday in a natural and far away from it all setting? The Cove is the resort for you. This charming tree house hideaway in an isolated part of Mombasa's south coast is ideal for lazy days by the Indian Ocean. The activities offered here are few and far between but if a simple but luxurious tree house on the beach sounds like your cup of tea then look no further. The Cove is the sister resort to Galu Beach Retreat and Gazi Retreat tented camp. As it is an adults-only resort, it is an especially popular destination with honeymooners.

.  We specifally asked for treehouse 1 and were given it, as it's right on the beach, and also next to the pool so you can see when its empty etc. there are 6 treehouse but only 3 or 4 were in use when we were there, so its lovely and quite. Great service from the butlers. Food was surprisingly lovely, i thought with so few guests they wouldnt make the effort but everything was cooked to order, and gorgeous! the sea food is freshly caught!

. If you want to get away from it all The Cove is just the place to go! We had 10 nights there and loved every minute. The Cove Treehouses are beautifully designed - natural, simple but stylish. The pool was a perfect temperature and always clean. A wonderful place to relax, sleep, eat and drink!

Got married in July at the cove what a romantic place it was amazing the Staff Charles William and Phillip cannot describe how well they looked after us .What a special time we had for the wedding and the 4 days after.

This location is in a league of its own! You will never feel more relaxed and pampered that at the Cove - staff like John, Raphael and Phillip will make you feel so at home you never want to leave! The food is fantastic and the chef will even share his recipies if you ask nice ;-) The rooms are like nothing i have ever experienced and i dont think anyone could not enjoy the luxury of the 4 poster bed with its sea view, the inside-out bathroom, and the amazing day bed on the deck! You HAVE to visit this place if its your honeymoon - its heaven!

The Cove Retreat is an amazing honeymoon destination. Peaceful, relaxing and no kids. The staff are the friendliest people you can meet and they can't do enough for you. Always topping your glass up and planning your next meal. (You've got to try the Samosas if you go!) The treehouses are out of this world and really spacious. A massive four poster bed, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, outside sofas with large decking area, outside bathroom and a hammock. What more could you ask for?! I totally recommend this destination as it's clean, comfortable and just what you need after planning a wedding and a weeks safari.
