. The hotel itself is spotless, with well maintained gardens and upon arrival we knew we had made a good choice. We always found something nice to eat and the BBQ night is very good. Entertainment is low key and again a little repetitive but this is Kenya!!

. We had a Cottage Room at the back of the resort, close to reception. The room was small & basic but clean & tidy. The only complaint all holiday was the shower was poor & so were the lights in the room. We didn't have a TV or fridge but didn't really miss them either. We found ALL of the staff to be extremely friendly & helpful.

. Overall, the hotel was a brilliant place to stay in Mombasa, offering decent food, a lovely setting and good entertainment. We would definitely recommend it.

. We found everything a delight. The rooms were clean and our room boy was most pleasant, the food was very good, we can only say the animation team was excellent with all the guests but ourselves and our teenage son enjoyed the non stop input from them.

. First time in kenya, on arrival at hotel, first impressions how clean everyhing was and the staff very helpful througout the holiday. our room was spacious. and always clean with clean sheets and towels every day. the food was excellent and always plenty of choice even for vegetarions. the entertainment staff were very good and always involved as many people as possible.

. Used to like it very much. but we think its going downhill, far too noisy now, nightly rubbish disco. noise from next doors disco until all hours. so no sleep. found insects and monkeys on buffet food. one guest had worms in the milk jug. lots of screeching children in pool, so cant get a good swim. staff after money from guests.

. lovely hotel very nice staff beach boys not a problem just a polite no works quite well, food was fine will go back to the same hotel in the near future

. We arrived there on 5th july ALL staff very welcoming make you feel at home, beach boys were a pain in the butt at times but not hotel fault, owner of the hotel very friendly we left on 11th july early hours and really didnt want to leave. we goin bak in novemeber as we feel we didnt have enough time there.

Papillon Lagoon Reef Mombasa ReviewsOur 15th visit to Kenya, but the first at this hotel. The family rooms are very big and our 2 kids felt they had their own space (as did we). The pool is great, very clean and a major plus point for the hotel. As with other places we have stayed in Kenya, it is the staff who help to make your stay memorable - they are always friendly and go out of their way to help. There was always something good to eat, and the food was well prepared and presented, but as we stayed over two weeks it did start to get a little repetative. The hotel is all inclusive and includes wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks.Papillon Lagoon Reef Mombasa Reviews

Papillon Lagoon Reef Mombasa ReviewsFirst impressions were very good of hotel and staff!!!made sure that a table was kept for us to have a meal as restaurant was just about to close.Rooms were fine, clean, functional and had everything that we required. FOOD-couldn't complain, plenty of choice to cover both vegeterians and meat eaters.had theme evenings regards food which we enjoyed although gets bit repetitive second time around!! STAFF-u could not find anybody any nicer than the kenyans from reception staff to the gardeners who always gave u a HELLO or JAMBOPapillon Lagoon Reef Mombasa Reviews

Papillon Lagoon Reef Mombasa ReviewsThe rooms were quite basic but there was a ceiling fan and air con which was good however the toilet overflowed everytime it was flushed this was reported on two occassions and was still leaking the day we left. It was so bad we had to use one of the hotel towels to soak up some of the water. NOT GOOD,it was then put out to dry on the balcony for repeat use.Papillon Lagoon Reef Mombasa Reviews
