This hotel as such is really okay. There is ample of security on EVERY floor so it is pretty scary up there. The hotel rooms as such are satisfactory. The spa and swimming pool are really well kept. The staff is very very helpful and the food is also nice. There is strict security checking at the gate. The view from the room is okay as his hotel is situated in the heart of the city and there are buildings around as well. I would suggest this hotel to tourists as it certainly will solve your purpose.
This is a good, clean hotel with a LOT of security - but this is a positive and a negative. Upon arriving you're greeted by security who search the car boot and look inside the passenger area, then check the car underneath with a mirror. Next, you have to go through a metal detector to get in the hotel. Sure, it feels safe - but it also feels quite intimidating!
Nice hotel and good service. Much more expensive than what you can find if you look a little - caters to business traveller.
It is a nice hotel with great location and great breakfast, but I think that it is too expensive for what it is worth. I was a bit disappointed with the room and some of the services; the mattress was old and worn out, the gym was small and cramped, I had no minibar, and the elderly TV had an odd green tinge.
Top hotel, very good quality, good staff and would go back
The hotel itself was very good, the staff were brilliant. Room was fantastic.
The Intercontinental exceeded my expectations and could be a hotel anywhere in the world. Security was a high priority with every car being thoroughly checked before being allowed on the premises. Check-in was smooth, quick and friendly. The whole hotel was clean and well kept with attentive staff. Rooms were as you would expect of any hotel with this star rating, with decent showers and plenty of sports tv channels. Good gift shop and restaurants/bars to relax in. Would highly recommend to anyone spending time in Nairobi especially as near city centre and city park.

I thought this hotel was fantastic i loved my holiday and the hotel. Any assistance i required i used to get quickly of the staff. Food on the other hand was okay but they did not have much to offer on their menu. Also they were pretty slow in making the foods to which was something i did not like them. The service was great the rooms given to us were so damn tidy! Price can also be discounted if you ask them like i did!
