. Very good value for money. The food was plentiful and varied, all the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming.
. The accommodation was fine, clean, decent beds and lots of space, I would describe as very good 3 star. The only pain was having to use the Lekoni ferry to get back to the airport to go on a safari.
. The rooms are adequate if a little worn, hot water can be sporadic so timing of showers is advised.Pools are fantastic and very clean, and water is warm considering they are unheated.
. This is a traditional style Mombasa beach hotel. Accommodation is in bandas (with 4 rooms) spread over a large site. The site is well maintained. The pools and swim up bars are great. The animation team cannot be faulted - enthusiatic, funny but not pushy.
. After reading all the negative reviews before travelling, I was a little apprehensive about staying here. However when I got there I quickly realised I had no reason to be. The standard rooms in the Village side are a little tired, however as we left they were starting to refurbish these rooms and make the bathrooms bigger by extending the outside walls. This is expected to be finished by June when the season starts again. The food was lovely, something different everyday during our 2 week stay.
. The staff were wonderful and the food acceptable for the standerd of hotel. Its not 5 star ,so dont expect it. We had a wonderful time, the beach is safe and georgeous, the gardens are lovely, the monkeys are cute, and the beach boys are tollarable. We would definatly return and will recomend to all our friends and family, but would make sure it was in the paradise part of the complex.
. My partner and I visited this hotel beginning of March, we are in our mid 30's, and stayed in the Village part, which is the least high spec of the three, however, we were so pleased we stayed in the Village as that is where the best restaurant was, the entertainment is all in the Village part and the atmosphere was great. We could also eat and stay in the Paradise part as well. The staff work so hard and put on a performance every night. Okay, the rooms are not 5 star but you are not paying 5* prices and the grounds, beach, service was definitely 5*.
. The room was not clean with two single beds instead of a double and only one thin pillow on each bed (we asked for a second pillow but weren't given one). The fridge door was broken and didn't shut properly, the air conditioning was on its last legs and made a horrendous noise which kept us awake at night, the mosquito net had holes in it, the bathroom was cramped with dirty grouting on the tiles. The drinks in the bar were not good. The beer was watered down and flat half the time, the soft drinks were not fizzy at all. The house red wine is untouchable and tasted like paraffin, and the house spirits were disgusting. That said, the food was not as bad but it did get repetitive by the end of the week.
We stayed for two weeks during the middle of September at the Neptune Village resort. This was a pretty good establishment except that we quickly realised that we were going to have to suffer the bass line of the disco every evening until getting on for midnight. Fortunately we were able to change rooms and move further away from the entertainment which just about solved the problem The food was good but the restaurant had the appearance of a bit of a cafeteria. Thank goodness we were able to use the facilities of the Neptune Paradise next door, which was altogether much quieter and with a much better appointed restaurant.
We stayed at Diani Beach Neptune Paradise Village Beach Resort for 2 weeks June/July. Nice hotel, all inclusive, excellent pool etc. The room was large, clean and well equipped, maid service very good, in fact all the staff were friendly and polite. We also used JT Safaris for our excursions following all the good reviews on the internet - well earned praise.
Diani Beach Neptune Paradise Village Beach Resort, good points, everything, bad points, none. Customer service, resort, location, and accommodation all 10 out of 10. Great work keep it up.
Definitely worth recommendation, would like to visit again
