The Pegasus is one of Kingston's exclusive hotels and crown of the hotels group including the Knutsford and Courtleigh. A seventeen story hotel it stands proud over the business district of Kingston with an impressive 300 rooms. Built in 1973 and situated in the financial and business district of Kingston, it has become the preferred meeting place for business. An no wonder, with 16 conference and meeting rooms to suit all sizes and occasions from 12 to 1000 seating, the Pegasus welcomes business.

The entrance and reception area is very spacious, and needs to be as this is a very busy hotel. There's also a large on site car park

The gardens are extensive and often home to some local stalls of cultural interest. With so many meeting and banqueting rooms, the Pegasus is well equipped for another popular event - weddings, which they do many of.

The fitness room is well equipped and reasonable size for a good work out, while the spa rooms offer some pampering. Or you can work out on the hotels tennis court (rackets, balls can be hired)

The pool area has a furnished terrace with a reasonable sized swimming pool and a very nice fountain. Rooms are air conditioned and modern with free Wi-Fi, valuables safe and flat-screen cable TV. There is a coffee maker and fridge available. Bathrooms have a shower.
The Blue Window restaurant at the Pegasus serves breakfast and buffet lunches and evening la carte. There's the 24 7 cafe for coffees and snacks. While the Blend Bar and Lounge offers modern decor, liquors and cocktails. For those enjoying some Caribbean sun, there is a pool bar with snacks, local and international drinks. There is also a poolside service.

Just 25 minutes’ drive from Norman Manley International Airport and 3 km from National Heroes Park and other historical places. While the famous Bob Marley Museum is a 5-minute drive away.

There over 500 reviews of the Pegasus with a surprising mix. While about 320 reviews rate the Pegasus as good to excellent. Over 130 rated the hotel as only average and 80 as bad to terrible. With showing its age in need of renovating, over rated and value for money being the most common negative sentiment. In conclusion: The Pegasus is an old style hotel from the 70's that was once the pride and joy of Kingston. Although renovation in some areas are obvious, it really needs a facelift. This does not stop it being the most popular business and meeting hotel in Kingston and also to vip guests. But sooner rather than later it will need that facelift, inside and out. If your on business and need the Pegasus' spacious areas and accommodation and can afford it, then its here you go.
