The Courtleigh Hotel is part of a local chain of hotels including the Pegasus and Knutsford Court. All three hotels are tailored towards short visit travelers and business people. The Courtleigh built in 1969 and remodeled in 2003 rates itself locally as a 4 star hotel which in Kingston is about right, though in international standards, it would be more 3.5 star due to the overall reviews from visitors, small gym and pool and lack of attention to some smaller details.

The most common negative is the overall cleanness and not good value for money as the average room cost is $200 to $230 per night. While on the positive side, most people rated the staff and food as good to excellent. Our teams visit to the Courtleigh can confirm that while the Courtleigh is a splendid hotel, there are signs of 'tiredness' in some areas and overall there are better value for money hotels in Kingston depending on your requirements. Though it must be said that the highest majority of reviews - over 400, give it a big thumbs up!
For those wanting to be in the city center, the Courtleigh is a centrally located hotel offering contemporary rooms with free Wi-Fi. an on-site restaurant, outdoor pool and 24-hour fitness centre.
There are a range of room sizes available from smaller bedrooms to full suites. A flat-screen cable TV, iPod docking station and safety deposit box are provided in the rooms at the Courtleigh. Most suites are spacious and include a living room with a sofa bed.
The on site Alexander’s Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining and serves a good mix of local and international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mingles Pub & Pool Bar is also on site.
Bob Marley Museum is five minutes drive away and 10 minutes’ drive from the Caribbean Sea and the National Gallery of Jamaica. Norman Manley International Airport is 25 minutes’ drive away.
