Boston Bay Beach

Boston Beach is located 9 miles east of Jamaica's Port Antonio

about a 20 minute drive from the town conveniently located near the exclusive Boston Jerk Centre, which is said around the world and Jamaica to be to be the best Jerk food centre. This beach is known for its Jerk Pork and Chicken stands which is considered to be the birthplace of the spicy Jamaican jerk seasoning which you could say it's the island's specialty. The beach is also a very popular spot among the surfers and body surfers as the tides are often high. Due to global rising water levels, most of the little beaches around this area are all washed away but, if want to do a little surfing, then this secluded beach is the best place to go. The locals say it's the best place in Jamaica for surfing due to the fact that the waves come in constantly. At times it can be easily overlooked so keep your eyes opened for the small bay which is noticeable from the road passing by. The highlight for it would be that it's located near Boston Jerk Centre that has hosted the renowned Portland Jerk festival the first two years in a row, which featured live music, slideshows and hundreds of jerk food stalls.
