We are Vacation Club members but stayed in the brand-new sis Hotel the Savoy Palace due to unavailability in the Royal. Because of Covid and other concerns we had actually not visited the Royal for just over 3 yrs however chose to take a look around. As I entered into reception a team member approached and greeted me warmly with a hand shake inviting me back. I visited the poolside, once again being warmly invited, by name and talked with staff I had actually not seen for some years. My better half and I chose to consume in the Armarda restaurant on the Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday we both had Herb encrusted Lamb and this was merely sensational. I saw personnel were as respectful and mindful to non Vacation Club guests as they were to members. Sunday was the Italian themed dinner and once again we took pleasure in an incredibly freshly prepared Pasta meal prepared by the Chef. We return in May however thoroughly took pleasure in the dinners."

" My hubby and I invested a week in Nov. at the Royal Savoy Resort. We were so pleased with all aspects of this hotel/resort that we chose to compose an evaluation. We had a suite on the 3rd flooring with a fully equipped kitchen space and a balcony with a most spectacular view of the ocean and the attractive swimming pool location. The room was spacious, incredibly tidy, the bed and pillows really comfortable. I liked the lighting in the space and restroom. Brilliant sufficient to use my makeup and get worn front of a long wall mirror. We were supplied slippers and a bathrobe and great deals of towels and chocolates on our bed. It felt really homey and comfortable. The housekeeping staff should be acknowledged for keeping the halls, lounge areas and spaces in top shape. The grounds were well kept from early morning to late night. As a guest you have access to abundant easy chair around 2 pool areas with comfy pads and large beach towels. The girls at the pool dining establishment made me customized drinks and brought them to me. What more can you want or expect. We can not state sufficient about the front desk staff. They surpassed their job description for us by helping to download and print our boarding passes, translating with residents on the phone for us, to answering my partners unending questions about Madeira, to offering extra room secrets, and requiring transportation to the airport. They even have a library on the first flooring where you can find books to take pleasure in. We wanted to experience the culture and foods of Madeira considering that we had a rental cars and truck so we did not stay and delight in the first class food provided at the hotel but I understand that they offer great dining in a charming restaurant neglecting the ocean and pool location. We will have fond memories of our stay at the Royal Savoy for many years to come and can not say enough about our stay."
