About the Owl House:Over the courtyard is a temperature-controlled ten-metre indoor swimming pool. Having a beautiful modular ceiling with fibre optic lights and a separate changing area, WC and shower. There is also the option of a sauna, a round of tennis on the tarmac court or a game of pétanque.Every care has been taken to build an authentic and characteristic residence with all the mod-cons to make your stay luxurious and comfortable. A bespoke staircase takes you up into a lovely loft room, with a super king bed and a walk-through to a double ended slipper bath, twin basins and a deluxe shower. Velux windows provide a view over the courtyard with its centre-piece fountain. There is also a helicopter landing pad. Ground Floor: Entrance into Dining/ kitchen/ sitting area With antler chandelier centering a hand-made 16ft dining table (to seat up to 31 guests) and kitchen with electric range cooker, microwave, American fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own pods), wine fridge, dishwasher, breakfast bar, wood burning stove, large leather sofas, lamp lighting and Smart television. Utility room With washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom two With super king bed and zip and link Vi sprung mattress. En-suite bathroom With bath, wash basin, deluxe shower and WC. Bedroom three/ Dormitory ‘The Dorm’ with funky chalet-style, built-in bunk complex which can either be taken with two super king beds and two single top bunks, or as six single beds. Additional Information: Bedroom three, 'The Dorm'/ bunk room has two super-king zip and link beds plus two single top bunks, so can be made up as six single beds, or any combination - please specify at time of booking. Dogs must be on leads at all times, as deer roam around the entire property. All three of the Hill Farm Massingham barns properties can be booked individually, as a combination of two of the barns or altogether to sleep 31 people. Fallow Folly (7 people) and The Owl House (10 people) are interlinked internally, while access to Red Stag Lodge (14 people) is via outside. The Owl House is the most spacious of the properties, and is thought of as the "entertainment capital" if you take all three. It’s only a short walk to the local gastro-pub, The Dabbling Duck, in Great Massingham too! Little Massingham is a small village located in the King's Lynn and West Norfolk district of Norfolk, England. It is located about 6 miles northwest of the town of Sandringham, which is famous for being the location of the Sandringham Estate, the country residence of the British royal family. Little Massingham has a population of about 1,000 people and is surrounded by agricultural land. The village has a number of small businesses, including a pub and a village hall. There are several footpaths and bridleways in the area, and the nearby coast and countryside offer opportunities for walking, cycling, and birdwatching. |
