" Average! I agree with previous reviews, wifi shocking ... we struggled to link for the 4 days we were here. Lovely reception staff tried to link us however to no avail. The breakfast was nice but extremely off putting having pigeons grazing by your feet and flying in the indoor restaurant- shower head didn't work but was healed within the day and the space card was a headache each time- however we found all the staff truly handy an friendly on reception, housekeeping and in the breakfast dining establishment. Finally it was half term with loads of kids cutting loose- on school trips in the corridor on a night which likewise didn't assist - im absolutely not persuaded this is 4star! I wouldn't return for the above reasons -it's verging on malfunctioning towers!"
" Well what can I state. It mentions is a 4 * hotel but I would give it a 2/3. Lift very old, day time receptionist not friendly and act as if they do not like their job night personnel were actually friendly and valuable. Poor client service at daytime. I got treated better by the cleansing personnel than by reception. First room provided had no air-con and I had to wait 3 days to be transferred to another space. Tidy rooms and friendly cleaning personnel. Breakfast area was good and lots of choices. Aside from poor customer support I would recommend for somebody on a budget plan as due to location it is a deal. Never attempted the swimming pool location but it did look all right. Mini bar fridge don't work properly and does not cool your beverages. You do get provided with 2 bottles of water which should suffice for 2 days but I never ever got anymore and stayed for 6 days. As mention prior to I would truly omens if you are on a budget and require a location to sleep as place is terrific"

" More of a 3 star. We remained here for a brief family weekend vacation (3 days) August 2022 and it's more of a 3 star hotel than a 4.
First of all on a favorable, Madeira is definitely stunning with spectacular and breath taking views!
We reserved 3 rooms (we needed to book another eleventh hour) and mine & my partners room was a sea view space on the 5th floor and it was definitely stunning with a clear view watching out onto the sea! Certainly the best out of the spaces we reserved for the view! The other sea view room on the 4th flooring had half the parking area and half the sea view, the mountain room you could not see the mountains at all which were both frustrating. But the rooms were good sizes and looked great and fresh. The bathrooms were also good so we were pleased.
There was a mixup with the spaces and when attempting to resolve prior to our vacation the hotel could not facilitate.
We required a space next to one of the other 2 rooms for my handicapped uncle. He could not share a space as requirements his own privacy but required to be next to among us so as he didn't go walking off by himself. The hotel couldn't facilitate getting us another room directly through them and informed me there wasn't a room offered on the exact same floor as any of us. In the end we handled to find a space online through another site for ₤ 109 per night which was on the 4th floor with one of us.
Our first night staying here my partner and I didn't have a working television. When I called down to reception they told me all the TVs were not working and they were awaiting an engineer to come out however couldn't state when over the weekend. They had a "I don't care" and "what do you expect me to do about it" attitude which was disturbing as I understand they are personally restricted to what they can do. My family informed me their tvs were working. Went to the reception and discussed that I required it during the night to assist my stress and anxiety and was notified they would get an engineer out but didn't define when. The engineer came out when we weren't even in so it never ever got dealt with.
One of the spaces had a kettle and we asked twice for one as well but no mugs and the dining establishment was closed at the time we asked so we had a tea in glasses haha. Again it was the whole "I don't care" mindset that was off putting and they didn't seem to wish to accommodate.
2nd night my partner and I discovered a bug feeding on the material of the bedding! Went to reception again and was informed that essentially the supervisor is constantly off over the weekend and returns during the week. So we could not even get this fixed as he wasn't offered!
I do not comprehend why the supervisor wouldn't be available over the weekend which is one of the busiest times. I felt bad for the receptionist.
We had actually breakfast included in our stay and the restaurant staff were lovely. They helped me discover the vegan food I could eat. There wasn't a substantial variety of hot vegan food however I did handle to consume and left sensation complete. They do supply Soya milk which was a plus. For recommendation the breakfast I had was grilled courgettes, prepared mushrooms, beans, plain bread (no vegan spread) and there were fresh cucumbers, tomatoes and fruits to picked from.
The next morning it was the same however the courgettes had altered to prepared tomatoes.
The swimming pool side bar didn't provide treats throughout the day simply drinks. So when we first arrived we had to go out to discover something to eat.
For a 3 day stay costing nearly ₤ 2k I think I just anticipated more for our money!
In general we enjoyed our stay. The hotel looked decent inside, the pool looked charming however the facilities and customer support are not 4 star worthy in my opinion.
I would check out again however probably in different accommodation if I could."
