The Shotover is basically a House, Cottage and Cabin set in 6 acres of forests, lawns, gardens and pool. It is 1000 feet up in the hills and twenty minutes drive to Port Antonio center. So expect some great views.
- The cabin has a double bed with its own bathroom and small kitchen
It rents for $30US a night or $200US a week
- The cottage has one bedroom with a separate kitchen and bathroom. There are three porches to relax on.
The cottage rents for $50US a night or $300US a week
- The villa has three bedrooms. There is the master bedroom upstairs with its own bath. Downstairs there are two smaller bedrooms which share a bath. The kitchen is completely equipped. The is a large living room and dining room. The villa has three separate porches. The villa rents for $150US a night ( 2 nights minimum ), or $1000US a week
It is very secure and very private, giving guests the ability to completely relax. There are spectacular views over the ocean and the Blue Mountains. Shotover Gardens is environmentally friendly. The villa and pool are all powered by solar panels
There is also high speed Wi-Fi
Ornithologist? The birding here is excellent with 16 of the endemics and 42 species total found in the grounds of Shotover Gardens.
