Basic Hotel Info: There are 26 Google reviews and 126 other reviews "The pizzas are really excellent but the menu could be improved" Jamaican Colors is a small rustic building constructed in 2004, on a property of 4000 sq m, overlooking the ocean. Consisting of a reception, a house with views of sea and mountain, bungalows with sea and swimming pool view, a bar, a swimming pool, a pool table and relaxation area near the cliffs. The hotel is located between two villages: Manchioneal, a small fishing village and Long bay, the most beautiful beach on the East coast. The rooms and decor are what you would expect for chalet type Jamaican dwellings and of course quite 'rustic'. The addition of a reasonable swimming pool would normally put the Jamaican Colors in a 3 star category, but the more simple rustic chalet approach is why we have given it two star rating. Though definitely at the top of all two star establishments. Overlooking the Caribbean sea on a 100' high cliff makes it perfect for short or long relaxing stay. There are six bungalows on the property, all have private bathroom, terrace, double(s) bed(s). No TV in the rooms, but the hotel provides free WIFI even in the rooms. There is also a swimming pool, a cocktail bar and a restaurant with a large menu of tasty food cooked to order. All rooms are equipped with hot water, fans and 110 /220V outlets. Only 3 minutes by foot there is a small, private beach, which is accessible by a shaded path which descends between two cliffs to where the sea and river merge. NOTE: Exclusive travel team have not yet fully reviewed the Jamaican Colors, so cannot give our normal recommendations or rating. |
