Perched on a hill overlooking the world famous Blue Lagoon, this 5-bedroom & 5-bathroom villa has retained all the atmosphere and elegance of a private residence. Giant hundred foot trees with Tarzan like vines and philodendron leaves the size of umbrellas cascade over each deck. The villa hotel is 6.8 miles from the City Center Plaza in Port Antonio, craft markets, shops and bus station
The rooms have a flat-screen TV. You will find a coffee machine in the room. Every bedroom is en-suite with a private bathroom.

Summary:
The Moon San is not a hotel or a villa in the ordinary sense, its a tasteful villa offering a real homely stay while having having some hotel amenities, in a great location with absolutely splendid views. You really need use of a car (or local taxi) if staying here as its a distance for supplies or restaurants.
Of the negative reviews its interesting to note that the owners and staff along with location got 10 out of 10 every time. Most common complaints being no pool, somewhat dated in places and lack of food, although as said, they all praise location and staff. The limited amenities make this an ok place, but there are plenty of similar vacation properties within the same price range or less. Maybe the place needs a make over to bring it up to the same quality of the staff and location? So if 'great friendly staff' is top of your list of must haves, put the Moon San on your list of possibles.
