Technically, more of a B&B though included here as they are cabins, but added advantage of on-site food and much more.
The Zion Country will not suit everyone, but for those of you it does, well, your in for a heaven on earth experience.
The wooden chalet style cabins are set in a beautiful tropical jungle garden where you might see a hummingbird feeding from the flowers on your veranda. While at night, the gentle lapping of waves and crescendo of crickets and other night insects is natures own soothing therapy.
The owner, Free-I was born and raised in Holland where he learned horticulture and respect for the earth and all who reside upon it. He brought his love and skills to Jamaica where he applied them to Zion Country, transforming the land into a little piece of heaven which he now graciously shares with his guests.
Those caring about nature more than creature luxuries, will adore this place.
Summary.
Of the only negative reviews we found, fair to say most are very dated. With over 150 reviews rating the Zion as 'excellent' in every way, we have to agree with many visitors, the Zion is a very unique accommodation that may not suit everyone. But for the many tourists who look for these great experience places, then this is one of the best in Jamaica. We see many mentions that the staff are great, all smiles and easy going laid back. |
