A small guest house in the Drapers area of Portland set amid lush gardens featuring mango, ackee, breadfruit, soursop and lime trees and a wide range of Jamaican flowers and herbs, a 9-minute walk from the beach. Located less than 50 m from the Caribbean Sea in Port Antonio, this intimate resort has more of a homely feel than larger hotels and guest houses in the area, consisting of three guest rooms, a dining area, tv lounge and a large outdoor veranda, set amidst a lush tropical garden
Each room has garden views, as well as mosquito netting, a fan and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Guests also have access to a shared living room, kitchen and terrace.

Port Antonio is a ten minute drive from the West and San San to the East and offers easy access to all of the attractions in and around Port Antonio

Home cooked breakfasts and dinners are available with both Jamaican and Italian cuisine. There's also Woodys burgers and hotdog place a short walk away.

Summary.
Out of over 100 guest reviews most praise the accommodation standards, the hosts and beautiful location. But, many do say that very loud music from a local bar can be a problem at night as the Search Me Heart is opposite a local hangout bar. Better take some earplugs! Apart from that the Search me Heart is a well kept guest house with charming hosts and wonderful scenery. Oh and it seems backpackers are not welcome and not for those who don't like loud Jamaican music, especially at night.
