Boston Beach Guest House is your home away from home amongst a wonderful setting and local environment. The location is perfect, next to a beautiful beach (with stairs). There's not a lot going on Fairy Hill, but people you meet are very friendly. Best be into music though, as the bar next door to the guest house plays it loud way past midnight.
Boston Beach Guesthouse is a four bedroom / two bathroom guest house built on the bank of Boston Bay with a small private beach. The area is very secluded but close to the famous Boston Jerk grills. It's also a short drive from Frenchman's Cove and San San Beach and within walking distance to the popular tourist attraction, Blue Lagoon. Less then 5 minutes to lots of good jerk food, a great fish takeaway to the left of the entrance across the street, and a awesome looking Jamaican nightclub just across from the fish shop.
There are also on-site dining options and restaurant.
Summary.
Overall, the guests were quite happy with this budget accommodation and many must have been night owls who enjoyed the early hours Jamaican rhythm of music. Where I live there's a bar close enough but I sleep through it. Same as the cocks crowing or dogs barking - this is the real Jamaica. But next door to your bedroom? The accommodation is simple but clean and functional, but the location is absolutely fantastic and great for a couple of love birds. Behind are endless tropical jungle and in front the beautiful Caribbean sea. You could get better for $80 in the area, but not with this location. Don't expect great internet connections in the area, can be a bit iffy. |
