"Great family hotel with lots to do for the kids. There's a great size water park at the front of the hotel, with another pool and bar for snacks and drinks. The bigger main pool is at the back of the hotel, you can likewise use the pools in the sis hotels which are truly close together, they are actually cold but get used to it after a while. The indoor pool is warm. You need to utilize swimming hats in the indoor pool and wrist bands are offered to you when you sign in so you can use all the pools. There's a football pitch, little running track, high ropes along with a pool table and couple of game machines. The hotel is well looked after and tidy but does need upgrading a little bit, the bathrooms primarily. The hotels store was closed maybe due to the fact that it was October half term. So you need to stroll to a local medspa which is not that far. Food at the hotel was nice, we discovered the best one to consume in was the Buganvilia which is in the Alfagar Town. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk away from the Alto Da Colina, there's a lot of actions so not truly accessible if you're handicapped or pushchairs. The staff were lovely and all helpful. We utilized a great deal of Uber taxis, no more than EUR4/5 to get to places, old town would cost you about EUR6. I would stay in the hotel once again, just disadvantage for us was the music was loud each night, so when your attempting to sleep since you've been travelling or ready to travel it might keep you awake like it did us, we spent for Seaview but I think you 'd hear it no matter what room you book in the hotel. This hotel is absolutely for little kids and teenagers, if you want less noise and more calm then I 'd book the village seafront view next time. In general, charming vacation and fantastic memories made and among the very best hotels we saw while there."

" On arrival, the reception is brilliant and airy. Check-in was an outright breeze. We were in "block 2" a brief walk over the bridge, far enough far from the primary building so as not to get a great deal of noise however near adequate (about 2 min) to get to. The hotel bar is adequate with 2 swimming pool tables and sufficient seating (both inside and out) to accommodate the guests. Just quibble here is the service is a little slow but not actually a concern. The dining establishment serves a wide and differed menu both for breakfast and supper, with treats throughout the day. There's 5 swimming pools and load of sunloungers, so no requirement to hurry around to get there. You likewise get full use of the sibling hotel just throughout the road. Disadvantage is the grocery store on the hotel complex was.closed, so if you required anything, you needed to go throughout to the sister hotel and it was a little pricey. That stated there's a Spar 100yds down the road, so not an issue. There was various home entertainment throughout the day for the children (parrot program, archery and so on) and a singer or karaoke every night. 20 minute leave is the "Strip" with loads of bars and eateries. Where the food and beverage is cheap but excellent. If you do not want to walk, Reception will call you a taxi, which costs about EUR4. Albufeira old town is a hour walk or a EUR8 taxi trip. The old town is absolutely beautiful, with something for everyone. The beach is spick-and-span, with whatever you 'd anticipate then some more. The beach near the hotel isn't truly available for anyone with pushchairs or walking issues because it's down a long staircase or an extremely high ramp. It's nice though. Downsides Other than some of the other guests (which occurs anywhere you go in the world). Not a lot to say. So to sum up Great rate Good hotel Good personnel And a transfer time of 40 minutes by taxi or 1.25 hrs by coach."

" Went here self catering in Oct. Hotel was nice, however some littles the room were run down. Broken tiles on bathroom wall, television aerial socket hanging off the wall. More stressing the door to the room had actually quite plainly been forced before and a metal retainer put in place instead which didn't seem that safe and secure. There sufficed items to do very basic cooking. A spar shop is only a 2 min leave and a larger grocery store easy to reach with an uber. The outdoor pools were freezing, thankfully the indoor swimming pool and covered outside swimming pool were warm enough to go in. This conserved the vacation as it would have been a catastrophe otherwise. Wee walk to the beach through the sibling hotels. We had meals in the hotel and in the one throughout the road both were good. Extremely advise using uber to go out and about, so easy to do. We went to the marina for a dolphin identifying boat trip. This was great and followed a group if them for around 10 minutes. Loads of great dining establishments at the marina likewise. The Alfagar Alto da Colina is a bit out of the main town so you do require to get an uber or taxi if you wish to go anywhere. Overall I would return, however I would most likely stay at one of the sis hotels."

" Definitely fantastic vacation very great apartment or condo very clean great sea view staff so friendly liked the buffet breakfast can't wait to return next year pool was charming extremely clean daily very kid friendly"
