About Stithians:Stithians is a civil parish and village located in the north-west of Cornwall, England. It is situated approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of the town of Falmouth and is surrounded by the parishes of Mawgan-in-Meneage, Constantine, Mabe and Budock. The village of Stithians is built around a large lake, which is home to a variety of wildlife such as ducks, geese, swans and a wide range of fish. The lake is also popular with anglers, who come to fish for carp, tench and bream. The village is home to a variety of shops, pubs and other services. There is a post office, a general store, a newsagent and a small supermarket. There are several pubs located in the village, including The Volunteer Inn, The Star Inn and The Fox and Hounds. Stithians is served by a local bus service, which connects the village to the nearby towns of Truro and Falmouth.
