The Welsh coastline

Abberffraw Beach Anglesey
Very popular for fishing and surfing this Anglesey village Abberffraw has a lovely family beach, with fabulous views.

Llangrannog Bay
Beautiful family beach, local pubs, grub and cafes and some good gentle surfing.

Rhossili Bay
This golden soft sand beach is considered one of the worlds top beaches. The beach is very popular with sun lovers and surfers. The views are absolutely fantastic and even has its own ship wreck to explore.

Mwnt Beach
One of Wales hidden gems, Mwnt cove is a small golden sand beach off the normal track that's well sheltered and well worth visiting for a bit of sun relaxation.

Three Cliffs Bay
Slightly off the beaten track and needing a little walking to get to, Three Cliffs Beach is a beautiful small beach with fabulous views surrounded by three cliffs.

Tenby North Beach
The lovely soft sand beach that's a wonderful sun trap is overlooked by the small town of Tenby and possibly one of the most photographed beach in Wales.

Barafundle Bay
Despite no direct road access, Barafundle Bay is without doubt one of the UK's top beaches and very popular during the height of the summer season. Though this scenic and sheltered beach is well worth visiting any time of the year.

Porth Oer
In English Porth Oer translates to Whistling Sands due to the fact that the unusual shaped sand grains tend to squeak when you walk on it. A lovely remote beach to visit and explore the coastline.

Tenby Beach
During the high season, Tenby is a bustling promenade town and the glorious beach and pier tend to be very busy with a full on holiday resort with all the usual activities. Though off season, Tenby and its beaches become a sleepy quaint seaside town.

Llandanwg Beach
This beach is ideal for those loving to explore rocks and pools along the sandy beach. Overshadowed by mountains, this sandy coastline is well worth spending some time.

Pendine Sands
One of the longest sandy beaches in Britain at over six miles, Pendine Sands has ample space for sun lovers, swimmers and stone or shell collectors. With a mixture of dunes, little pools, great coastline walks and lots of ideal spots for picnicking, the Pendine beach and shoreline is a great way to spend a day.

Whitesands Beach
Known for its unspoiled white sands and Blue Flag safety award, Whitesands is a beautiful beach for sand and sea lovers. Its gentle rolling waves makes it very popular with surfers of all ages.

Marloes Sands
With a car park that leads straight down to the beach, Marloes Sands is not just about its beach. Under the National Trust, this coastline is a wonder of scenery and wildlife ideal for inspiring coastal walks. The beach is quite unique geology of volcanic sandstones and rocks.
