About Cusgarne

Cusgarne is a small village located in the county of Cornwall, in the south-west of England. It is situated on a hill, about three miles from the sea and is surrounded by rolling countryside.

The village has a long history. It was mentioned in the Domesday Book as 'Cusgarne', meaning 'valley of the crows', and has been in existence since at least the 14th century. The village is made up of a few picturesque cottages and a pub, The Old Inn. The pub is the traditional hub of the community, and is popular with locals and visitors alike. It serves a range of real ales and ciders, and a delicious menu of locally sourced food.

The area surrounding Cusgarne is home to a number of important historical sites, including the remains of a stone circle and chambered tomb. It is also a popular destination for walkers and cyclists, with a number of footpaths and bridleways leading to the nearby villages of Merrymeet and Lanlivery.
