About Marazion:

Marazion is a small town in Cornwall, England, located on the eastern side of Mount's Bay. It is known for its beautiful sandy beach, in addition to its spectacular views across the bay to the iconic St Michael's Mount.

The town has been occupied since prehistoric times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. It is the oldest chartered town in Cornwall, having been granted its charter by King Henry III in 1257. In the 16th century, the town was a major port, trading with France and Spain.

Today, Marazion is a popular tourist destination. Its beach is the perfect spot to relax, sunbathe and swim in the clear waters of Mount's Bay. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes to explore, as well as a few pubs and bars.

Marazion is well-known for its wildlife, with a variety of birds, seals and dolphins often spotted in the bay. The area is also home to some beautiful gardens, including Trengwainton Garden, which is owned by the National Trust.
