Totnes and Dartmouth are both close to Paignton and use the incredible Round Robin trip from the Dartmouth Heavy Steam Train as well as River Boating. Ride in either direction from Paignton to Totnes on a bus which has an open top for great weather conditions. Next, you take the watercraft down the river to Dartmouth. After that you head back to Paignton on the vintage heavy steam train. A very satisfying days outing and a wonderful means to explore and check out these South Devon towns.

Exeter
Only a thirty five minute train trip from Torquay, Exeter is the vibrant resources of Devon. Discover with a walk along old city wall surfaces, which go back to the Roman times. Head under the streets in the underground flows to see a different side of the city. Or shop to your hearts content in the large choice of high road and city shops.

If you have brought your bikes, pedal over to Haldon Forest Park on the edge of the city, where you'll discover miles of trails for all ages. Or take pleasure in a leisurely cycle along the Exe Estuary cycle path from Exeter city centre to Exmouth, passing through the pretty towns of Topsham and Exminster.
