About St Teath:

St Teath is an historic village and former manor in Cornwall, UK. The village is located on the east side of the River Camel, close to the A39 road. The village is mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086, and was the home of a large manor owned by the de Cardinham family.

The village has many historic buildings and monuments, including the parish church of St Teath, which dates from the 13th century and is one of the oldest churches in Cornwall. The church is dedicated to St Teath, a Celtic saint who lived in the area in the 6th century. The village also has a number of old public houses, including the White Hart Inn, which still serves traditional Cornish ales and ciders.
