About Hayle: Hayle is a coastal town located in Cornwall, England. It is situated between the towns of Penzance and Redruth and is around 11 miles east of St Ives. It is also situated at the mouth of the Hayle estuary and is linked to the nearby town of St Erth by a series of causeways. The town of Hayle is an important industrial centre of Cornwall and is home to a large fishing fleet and a number of important manufacturing industries. The main area of activity is centred around the Hayle estuary, which is a busy working harbour. The town is also home to the Gwinear & Gwithian Railway, a narrow gauge railway which runs from Hayle to Gwinear and Gwithian. Hayle is home to a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The town is also home to the Hayle Heritage Centre, which offers visitors a glimpse into the town’s past. The centre houses a collection of old photographs and artifacts, as well as a range of interactive exhibits. The area around Hayle is also home to a number of picturesque villages and hamlets. Marazion, which is located just east of Hayle, is a popular holiday destination and is home to St Michael's Mount, a stunning medieval castle. The village of Phillack is located further up the estuary and is home to a number of ancient burial grounds. The village of St Erth is located close to Hayle and is home to a number of old churches, including St Erth's Church, which is one of the oldest churches in Cornwall. The nearby town of Penzance is also home to a number of attractions, including the historic Morrab Gardens and the Penlee House Museum. The Lizard Peninsula, located to the south of Hayle, is a popular spot for walkers and is home to a number of stunning beaches and coastal walks.
