Indonesia:

Obviously Bali is one of the best known holiday destinations in Indonesia and a true beach lover's paradise with everything else thrown in like activities, vibrant night life, tropical jungles, diving, trekking oh and did we say 'Dazzling beaches'. The sheer wondrous beauty of Bali is why its called the 'Island of the Gods' and is seen everywhere in the islands ancient culture.

If your an intrepid explorer looking for jungles and orangutans with volcanic lakes then head to Sumatra. The island is one of Indonesia’s less-visited places so relatively unspoiled with modern tourism.
If its active volcanoes, ancient temples and ruins with a vibrant city culture that appeals then head to Java. Bandung is the capital of Java and a maze of old fashioned streets packed with cafes, restaurants and shops.

To explore the islands just take one of the many boat trips whether an organised tourist trip or one of the many private hires by the hour or day. Go island hoping to beautiful unspoiled coves, diving, fishing or just exploring caves and waterfalls.
The islands of Raja Ampat (meaning four kings) offers some of the best scuba and diving in the turquoise waters surrounding these islands and the pearly white beaches that adorn them.
Many of the islands are an ornithologists dream with some truly beautiful species to be seen close up.

The Tanjung Puting National Park is a wonderful game reserve where you can spot long haired orangutans, clouded leopards and many other rare animals and of course over two hundred bird species. Small sightseeing barges wind there way along the extensive waterways in the park.

Komodo Island along with Padar and Rinca is where you will find an abundance of Komodo dragons. These marvelous creatures are the largest of the living reptiles and can grow to over three metres long like a left over from Jurassic times. Guides are necessary for exploring these islands as also home to many other animals like macaques, buffalo, horses and a few not so friendly snakes.

Economy of Indonesia:
Indonesia is one of the most populous countries in the world and its economy is the largest in Southeast Asia. Its economy is largely based on a strong manufacturing sector, supported by exports of raw materials, agricultural products, and manufactured goods. Indonesia’s economy is expected to grow by at least five percent annually in the near future.

Indonesia has a diverse economy with its main drivers being agriculture, manufacturing, services, and investment. Agriculture accounts for about 15 percent of the country’s GDP. Indonesia’s major agricultural products include rice, cassava, soybeans, palm oil, rubber, and cocoa. Manufacturing accounts for 20 percent of the GDP and is driven by the automotive, electronics, and textile industries. Services account for the largest share of GDP and make up approximately 55 percent of GDP. This is driven by the country’s banking, telecommunications, and transportation industries. Investment is the fourth largest sector in the economy, accounting for about 10 percent of GDP.

Indonesia’s economic growth has been driven by an increase in foreign direct investment, as well as domestic investment in infrastructure and the development of new industries. In recent years, the country has made some significant reforms to its economic policies, such as cutting import tariffs and reducing fuel subsidies, in order to encourage foreign investment. In addition, the government has implemented a range of tax incentives to encourage investment in the manufacturing sector.
