Boracay Philippines.

At a mere 10 kmĀ², pint-sized Boracay is small enough to stroll around in a day... but who would want to, when any one part of the island's idyllic coastline is good enough to pass out on for hours? Despite its size, this little gem in the Visayan Islands is cemented as one of the Philippines' premier beach destinations. With lively nightlife, heaps of amazing food, snorkelling, diving and more all centred around the achingly perfect White Beach, its easy to see why.

When is the best time to visit Boracay?
The island's high season lasts from October to May, and the best diving conditions usually sit between December and April. Try not to travel to Boracay between June and October, when the island is deserted and at risk of being lashed by tropical storms (on the plus side, prices will be super low during this season!).

Manila to Boracay on a Shoestring
Explore Manila before embarking on a journey through the Philippines' beautiful north. Trek through Banaue's amazing rice terraces, discover mysterious 'hanging coffins' in the jungles of Sagada, and spend a night in a local family homestay. Then it's on to the beautiful beaches of Boracay for snorkelling, diving, partying, or simply snoozing before heading back to Manila.
