Dalaman Holidays
A gateway to the fabulous Turquoise Coast, a holiday in Dalaman has it all: natural beauty, blissful beaches and activities galore. No matter what sort of holidaymaker you are, you’re bound to find something to delight you here.

Bustling collections of high-class marinas are just one of the many attractions of Dalaman. And as Göcek is the sailing capital of the Dalaman region, it makes sense that visitors should indulge in a little luxury aboard one of these floating beauties. Enjoy an al fresco, champagne lunch while gazing over the waters or prepare to surprise your partner with a private meal for two while floating on the star-strewn waters. If being on the water isn’t for you, the quayside also offers plenty of upmarket eateries and shopping destinations to keep you living the high life.

The clue is in the name; the Turquoise Coast. With its picture-perfect crescent bays, white gold sands and sparkling blue waters, a holiday to Dalaman is a must. Whether you’re there to get up close and personal with a surfboard and some awesome waves or to simply enjoy the sun with a good book, the beaches of Dalaman are ideal. Kitted out with sun umbrellas, street food vendors, beach bars and water sport equipment shops you’ll find everything you need to spend hours in utter a state of complete relaxation.

There’s never a dull moment in Dalaman, even if you’re simply taking it easy. You can spend your days enjoying the laid back vibes of the beach, hiking your way around or expanding your knowledge base on a walking tour. Finish off your evening by watching a beautiful sunset and enjoying a delicious meal by the harbour.

Nature lovers and adrenaline seekers will both find an ideal holiday destination in Dalaman with its paragliding and photogenic peaks, famously blue lagoons, bays and scenic shrubbery-like woodlands. Swim alongside a colourful array of fish or climb to the heady heights of the surrounding mountain ranges, kayak with your friends into the sunset or take a thrilling day trip on a quad bike, the fun never ends here.

Sarsala Cove.
A little slice of heaven that everyone can enjoy, Sarsala Cove has waters so crystal clear they look as though they have been filtered. Enclosed by a stunning natural pebble beach and a pine tree forest that grows right to the water’s edge, you’ll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Grab a little boat and float on the peaceful ripples or enjoy a cup of Turkish tea at the pier cafe. Alternatively you can enjoy a meandering walk to see the nearby Lycian rock tombs towards Tasyaka Bay. Avid divers will be pleased to know that this is a highly rated area to take a dip as the waters are warm, calm and full of fascinating sea life.

Calis Carnival.
Get out your dancing shoes and be sure to pack your party spirit if you’re planning to attend the Calis Carnival, which is usually held in May. With festivities lasting for a full week through the whole area and in absolutely every street, be prepared to use up all your energy reserves dancing, singing, making new friends and generally having a fantastic time. If you visited outside of Calis Carnival and are making a return visit, you won’t recognise the place. Balloons, bunting, processions, costumes and all kinds of magic are used to transform the town’s usual tranquility into a hive of colourful activity. With free open-air concerts, marching bands and special offers on entertainment in every direction, there won’t be a single dull moment.

Ghost Town of Kayaköy.
An off-the-beaten-track sightseeing experience that history buffs and scary story fans will find a point of fascination is the ghost town of Kayaköy (literally ‘rock village’). An eerie collection of crumbled buildings, gnarled clusters of aged fig and pomegranate trees and overgrown paths of weed make up the scene of a once thriving hillside community. Formerly known as Levissi, Kayakoy had some 10,000 inhabitants from its origins in the 14th Century until the early 1920s. Local legend says the spirits of the expelled community returned to haunt the area at night.
