There were no cereals or fresh fruit for breakfast, lunchtime menus were limited to takeaway food (burgers, chips etc.), no vegetables or deserts and the condiment dispensers needed cleaning. I had no telephone or kettle in my room. The all inclusive package was limited to four drinks (water included) per day!"

Kaz Kreol is a ocean front hotel on its own beach. There is an on site restaurant. With all air conditioned rooms facing the beach, there are some great views. Some rooms have private balcony's. Cable TV and a hairdryer are provided.
A continental or Jamaican breakfast is served each morning. Lunch and dinner are also available, with dishes including local and international.
Ocho Rios town center and beaches are only minutes walk away. Prospect Plantation tours are 3 km from this beachfront hotel, while Dunn's River Falls is 8 km away. Sangster International Airport is a one and half hour drive from the Kaz Kreol.
Summary.
While the location and views had no complaints from any guest, the guest reviews about the hotel are not that good. One or two bad reviews for any establishment are normal, however a constant string or swarm of complaints needs looking at further. So we can only say that with 480 reviews over past two years the percentage of negatives about the Kaz Kreol is very high, while the percentage of positives about the location are even higher. So if location is your top priority, then put Kaz Kreol on a list of possible's as US$80 a night is very reasonable for a resort style hotel in such a location on the beach. |
