Devon House

is located in the center of Jamaica's capital city Kingston, sitting on 11 acres of land, its a 128 year old Georgian style house built for the first black Jamaican millionaire Gorge Stiebel. Its now one of Jamaica’s leading Heritage Sites. Apart from its extensive gardens and grounds where you can simply chill out under a mango tree with a cool drink, Devon House has gained something of a cult following for its famous ice cream, which is absolutely delicious.

Covered in beautifully lush green lawns, high palm trees, a water fountain and a wondrous display of flowers, its an atmosphere to relax your mind, body and soul into. And of course, your taste buds into some of that delicious ice cream, fresh bakery or excellent restaurant. Popular with upper class Jamaicans and tourists, Devon House stands as an architectural monument and oasis of peacefulness in the very center of Kingston. There are tours of the house itself where you can see the splendor of its decor and the collection of furnishings and antiquities from around the globe.
