Fabulous 2 week remain at Palheiro Village in a large 2 bed house. The swimming pool area was beautiful. The Saturday BBQ at the Golf Clubhouse was very or to pop in and have a snack or drink. Just a lovely tranquil location to stay and charge! Good local taxi service for access to Funchal."

OK - I understand Madeira is really sloping however I would choose somewhere different if I come back.
The complex is a nice range of apartments and vacation homes but the hills from the bottom homes to the golf course are simply outrageous unless you wish to drive all over.
The Clubhouse using a simple food menu and beverages is no place near the outside or indoor pools. The staff in the Clubhouse get along however really few individuals around due to present limitations.
The 2 bed room apartments are of a great size however sadly you can hear people moving furniture in adjoining apartment or condos and likewise when they utilize the toilets.
No other dining establishments within strolling distance of the complex however supermarkets a couple of KM away.

The apartments are fantastic and the village is tidy and beautiful.
We appreciated whatever, the service and kindness of the personnel and the equipment on website.
We met some friends remaining in another flat on the first row who complained about the noise from the road below. So we felt fortunate to be found on the 2nd row (flat # 7), which was much quieter. The views are great. Our home was very well equipped, brilliant and elegantly embellished. It is on the top floor and has diamond-shaped ceilings with intimate and romantic lighting. The spaces are roomy and the bedding is great. We valued the wooden flooring in the bed rooms, less allergenic than carpets ... in this regard, we would suggest altering the drapes in the bed rooms which are beginning to reveal some traces of humidity.
The Wifi connection is excellent in the living and dining room, a little slower in the bedrooms. There are 2 beautiful marble bathrooms. The balcony is extremely enjoyable.
We were not troubled by the community, yet the resort was complete.
You have to walk a little to get to the swimming pool, along a rather high course, but the view from the pool is fantastic! Tennis table and a TV lounge with a snooker, free of charge.
A car is necessary, nevertheless there is a bus stop simply in front of the entryway of the resort. I believe Palheiro provides a free shuttle bus to the town hall two times a day (on request). The apartment or condo is around a 10 minute drive to Funchal and a 3 minute drive to 2 supermarkets. So convenient!
Do check out the wonderful Palheiro gardens! and have a great lunch at the golf club restaurant which offers a wonderful view on Funchal. We didn't use the SPA and Gym, which are additional costs.
Simply put, all the conditions are met to have a terrific remain in Madeira.
