"Exceptional.
This Hotel is exceptional. Rate quality doesn't improve than this, as the room, facilities, staff are impeccable. The peace around the hotel location is amazing I believe I have not felt this relaxed (in a not beach area) for a long time. The food was likewise impressive, I could not have actually been better pleased.
I don't have any bad reviews. If I were choosy the swimming pool could be completely cleaned, it's nothing shocking for a pool that's in a garden with trees around, however it's the only thing that concerns my mind"
" A tranquil and picturesque area with remarkable services. We enjoyed the location simply 35 minutes north of Lisbon's hustle and bustle. The hotel was tidy, peaceful, picturesque, and the bed SO comfy. The medical spa services were charming, all features area on."
" Good hotel, great location, terrific for households, mediocre food.
We actually liked the children's backyard, and the staff that was genuinely kid friendly. The outside medium temperature level Jacuzzi was nice for the kids. The food tasted extremely artificial, and wasn't tasty. The veranda was to little for anything-not even a place for a chair."
" Nice hotel by golf course.
Our group of 20 golf enthusiasts checked out hotel for a week in the end of October -22. Hotel lies in an extremely quiet spot, surrounded by local homes and some vacation houses and fields. Location is really gorgeous and green, however there are no other hotels or restaurants or shops anywhere close. We game to play golf and the course is extremely well situated right next to the hotel.
Hotel spaces were nice and excellent in size. My space was dealing with the pool and golf course and the little veranda was sunny but not furnished. Bed was comfortable and it was very quiet during the night so good to sleep after long days playing.
We went to the health spa every day and there were only few other individuals there. Sauna was not too hot for us Finns.
Breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, breads and cheeses, fruit, yogurt, musli etc. There was a buffet dinner every night and the food was extremely scrumptious. From club or bar you might get also some lunch or dinner from menu.
The golf course was quite challenging. I like to stroll when playing and the round took 4,5 to 5,5 hours. Fairways were in pretty poor condition due to absence of water, greens were in best condition though. There were a lot of hills up and down and lovely scenery."
" An excellent location at sensible costs.
Excellent place 40km north of Lisbon. Adjacent to fairly priced gol facilities including championship course. Outstanding for family gathering. Provided excellent birthday celebration food family. Self catering accommodation also offered to an extremely comfy standard. We have actually experienced both."
" EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE.
Myself and the visitors of my wedding all stayed at the hotel in October. We had the most unbelievable experience ever, we all experienced VIP treatment and felt comfortable and made sure on. The personnel, specifically the hotel supervisor did an exceptional job at making sure we were all fine and looked after. Yuliya is genuinely paradise sent out. All the staff at the hotel were incredible, but Yuliya, Nuno, Miguel and Pedro went above and beyond for myself, my spouse and our household. We will certainly be advised this hotel to anyone and everybody we understand who will be visiting Lisboa in the future. I personally can not wait to stay and experience this hotel once again. Thank you to all the personnel who made our journey an unforgettable one."
" How to ruin a golf course.
When I first played Campo Real 15 years ago it was a delight with well preserved fairways, clinging rough, well sanded bunkers and fantastic greens.
Now the only part of the course that could be referred to as sufficient are the greens.
Management have actually somehow conspired to turn this course into a dirt track and I suggest that totally actually. The fairways now include soil with the occasional blade of yard struggling to endure.
The have wrecked a true gem and how they have the nerve to charge green fees is beyond me. My shoes got a lot soil on the first fairway that I grew half an inch and spent the first 9 raking the soil of the soles of my shoes before each shot!
If extreme action is not taken soon this course could be lost.
What is so irritating is that all the other courses in the location - royal Obidos, West Cliffs and so on do not have these issues. Extreme and urgent action is required to conserve this lovely course.
I was not remaining in the hotel and my evaluation relates only to the golf course."
" Not for foodies!
The hotel itself is nice. The rooms are well decorated with great en-suites. The outside pool is nice however the temperature level was really cold! What was extremely frustrating was the food. The only night dining choice was a buffet restaurant. It was EUR33 per head not consisting of beverages which was extremely expensive for what was very basic food. So frustrating not to have any dining establishment option on a hotel of this size. It is rather separated in area so the only other alternative would be to travel by taxi to a local town for supper. The swimming pool bar was closed indicating that you had to stroll rather a range to even get a water. Delighted we just had 3 nights here. I would have been mad if we had scheduled this hotel for 3 weeks!"
" Good hotel, service and food.
We have been in this hotel 3 times, in 2018, 2021 and 2022 and we were never ever dissatisfied.
We tried the standard rooms, the suite and more just recently the guest houses for groups.
The rooms are clean, the personnel gets along and customer oriented. There is now a kids club offering numerous activities for kids.
Swimming pools (indoor and outside) are well developed for all ages. Slippery outside, best attention must be provided to those wet areas, because great deals of kids falling and injuring themselves.
The food is great and with terrific variety. (2 dining establishments with snacks at 2 extra bars) Expensive breakfast but with lots of options for all tastes, actually enjoyed it all times.
We did not try golf, therefore no viewpoint on that. I can just advise this hotel. We always had an excellent and enjoyable stay there."
