Monte Carlo is the jewel in the crown of Monaco. This is where luxury and glamour majestically towers above the glistening Mediterranean Sea, expensive cars roar down the boulevards lined by palm trees, and you can pretend you’re James Bond or Grace Kelly for a night out in one of the stylish casinos.
The small principality of Monaco has for centuries attracted holidaymaker's, due to its perfect location on the Riviera as well as its luxurious take on life with its famous casinos, great boutiques and restaurants as well as the fleet of grandiose yachts that populate the marina.

For a version of Monte Carlo that is less fuelled by adrenaline and jet setting, there are plenty of scenic parks and interesting museums to be found here too. Poised on the cliffs just above the sea, the Oceanographic Museum, where the world-famous explore Jacques-Yves Cousteau was a director for 30 years, aims to educate and captivate visitors with its fascinating collection of marine life and interactive exhibitions.
You can also opt for an exploration of colourful plants and cacti, as well as enjoy the views of the sea from the Jardin Exotique, or head to the Jardin Animilier de Monaco to see the different animals and birds that are housed here among tranquil greenery.
