Its a mountainous island and much is forest which gently slopes down to some stunning beaches around the coast. Though French, Corsica has a strong Italian influence with a deep history being the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Its often referred to as 'Island of Beauty' for its wondrous landscapes and warm turquoise waters.
