"Needs a deep cleaning. Spent 2 nights at the Caribe in January. In general I found it an underwhelming stay. It was a great location, which was (if you have a little energy) walkable to Old San Juan as well as walkable to other nearby resorts. I would say in general the property had a really run-down feel. We stayed in the tower that remained in the very same structure as the reception area and the room simply felt and look dirty. From stains on the wall to hair in the restroom, it simply needed a deep scrub. The tidiness reached the rest of the floor with the exact same empty glass of Pina Colada near the elevator that never got picked up for our whole stay. We took one take a look at the breakfast restaurant and assumed that the non-cleanliness reached the dining establishment, and quickly walked to another hotel for breakfast. The pool facilities likewise appeared outdated and unclean (for example, cloudy water). General I would not remain here again"
" Great location, great staff and service. We've stayed here often times throughout the years, and it's really an iconic property. However what actually makes us return is the personnel and the level of service they offer. A couple of standouts are Miguel the waiter in the lobby bar, Arlene, Ninoshka, and Justin at the pool and beach, Hector at valet, and Efraim the waiter at the breakfast restaurant. All of the staff is regularly outstanding, however these people go over and above."
" Carib Hilton was fantastic. We had a good time. The space was just what we needed. Your personnel did a significant job. We had extremely favorable experiences with everyone we experienced; at check-in, the breakfast team, house cleaning, the bartenders, swimming pool and towel crew, and the Rustica restaurant. We want to specifically thank Hector, our waiter by the swimming pool, for being so helpful and friendly. Marisol, at the towel cubicle, gave us tips on where to eat and sightseeing in our outing off site Monday. She was really handy and knowledgeable. Yoryina, at the front desk, is exceptional! She was incredibly valuable at check in and have a look at. She suggested a restaurant in Rincon that was our favorite meal of our entire stay. Her incredibly favorable mindset, integrated with hotel and regional knowledge, made our journey a lot better. She is a true possession to your organization. Please thank her, and all of your group, for making our go to so enjoyable and special."
" Great location. I enjoyed my remain at the Caribe. The premises are large. There's a lot of room for a beach chair and umbrella regardless of the time you get here. Breakfast is decent, food at the pool bar is yummy. Service at the beach is fantastic. The place of this hotel is perfect. A simple walk to Condado restaurants and a quick ride to old San Juan. My husband and I even took the scooters to old San Juan. Easy to do on the bike courses. My room was clean, spacious and had spectacular views. I've been at this hotel prior to when the deck over the water was much better kept and had cushions around the structure. It was a favorite spot. Not exactly sure why that structure is no longer kept as it remained in the past. I will be back."

" Loved it! Stunning hotel with a very fascinating history (see hotel's displayed timeline), first class accommodations and features and remarkable service. Has it's own beach and a beautiful swimming pool area, in addition to excellent food and drink alternatives. We delighted in the Caribar, Bagua Bar, Ice Cream & Cookies Co. and Lola's Puerto Rican Cuisine. Great area as it is a great walk into Old San Juan (with a view of the ocean the majority of the way). We were impressed from start to finish and could not have actually been happier with our choice to stay here."
" Exceptional Quality and Service. Truly had a wonderful stay at the Caribe. It was a first class experience, and we were commemorating an anniversary, and they treated us so effectively.
As a Hilton Diamond I couldn't have requested for more from a lovely space (1967 ), the excellent swimming pool bar, to the dining establishments inside the hotel. Likewise Morton's steak house is next door, which I also advise their wonderful happy hour on beverages and appetizers.
We are satisfying a big group of friends here in PR from England in 2024, and I have already highly suggested the Caribe. Thanks to great management, friendly handy personnel and a paradise of a place."
" Nice hotel! Lovely beach! Remarkable staff! This trip was required and loved! We remained at Caribe Hilton from 12/31/22 -1/ 2/23, and took pleasure in the entire experience. This was our 2nd remain at Caribe Hilton. It is the best hotel for families, friends, couples, and solo travelers. The friendly, mindful, and valuable personnel are one of the factors we returned, and will continue to stay here when we take a trip to San Juan. Andres at the front desk made this trip remarkable as he went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied with our stay. He is a very star! Shout out to all of the practical staff at the beach, including the woman that located a spot for us, and brought 2 chairs out. That was unforeseen and truly valued! Caribe Hilton is close to numerous attractions such as La Placita, Distrito T Mobile, and the Convention Center. Going to San Juan? Remain At Caribe Hilton for a fantastic experience!"
