In a truly idyllic and tranquil location, Field Cottage is a period featured stone and thatched cottage with beautiful views over rolling countryside.
Set on sloping hillside just outside the charming village of Elmley Castle and surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty, Field Cottage is a picture book cottage. Retaining all the original wooden beams and door frames, the cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. The lounge features a traditional wood burning fireplace and the kitchen dining area has a lovely range oven. Field Cottage is a peaceful haven retreat and perfect for a romantic break. The pretty village of Elmley Castle and pub is walking distance and the market town of Evesham and high street shops is a short drive. There's also a local theatre and local festivals. Please be aware of low headroom and a narrow winding staircase to the first floor bedroom.

This Cottage and Garden Room is a perfect place to stay. It is so quiet. The log fire makes it so cosy. The heating is on a timer and it does go off for quite lengthy period and makes it quite cold during the afternoon.

Arrived in grim wet weather; opening the door and walking in to a lovely warm cottage with Classic FM playing in the background was simply heaven. Extremely well appointed, cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. We immediately felt at home.

I don’t know how to begin to describe this idyllic cottage and the surroundings that it sits in. My new husband and I came to stay at Field Cottage for a ‘minimoon’ and what a treat it has been. The welcome hamper is a delight, the log burner (already prepared for us!) makes for cosy and lazy days and evenings and the beautiful roll top bath in the spacious bathroom topped it all off. The attention to detail is outstanding and I can’t recommend this more if you’re looking for a cosy hideaway in the Cotswolds.

The village is situated in a rural area and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with many footpaths and bridleways for walking and cycling. The village is home to a number of local businesses and amenities, including a pub, a post office, and a village hall. The nearest larger town to Elmley Castle is Pershore, which is located about 5 miles to the northwest. The village is named after Elmley Castle, which is a grade II listed building that dates from the 14th century. The castle is now a private residence and is not open to the public.
