Our 10 cents worth? Owner of this Hotel? Get promoted across the World now to millions of tourists "Best all inclusive hotel ever" "The standard of service and friendliness of staff of this hotel was the best we've experienced in an all inclusive hotel. Nothing was too much trouble"
"Wonderful, friendly people" "This was our first time in Cuba and our first time staying at an all inclusive hotel. I had reservations about having a resort type holiday, however our stay was OUTSTANDING"
This is our second time here at Sol Cayo coco. The hotel is a great place to stay and made loads of friends as this is quite a small hotel its easier to mix with others.
This was our first trip to Cuba and it's safe to say it won't be our last! The hotel itself does look a little tired compared to some of the newer hotels and could do with a lick of paint and some general maintenance here and there but it didn't affect our stay in any way "just remember the social and economic environment you are in" a four star hotel? Not quite..the rooms are a bit tired as others have said and there was a "musty" smell. Travelled with family of 4 adults and a toddler to the Sol Cayo Coco in late April and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at the hotel. No complaints about the facilities, the location, the service or the food. Having been to Cuba before,we did expect to find a bit of tired paintwork and the odd scratch on furniture Loved it - yes the rooms do need a bit of tlc and a bit of a refurb but to be onest you only need a room to sleep shower and some where to put your clothes you get air con 24/7 and the sea sand and weather to die for Amazing - visited this hotel twice now the place is AMAZING. if you want 5 star go somewhere else as the rooms are clean and comfortable they have everything you want but are slightly run down, not a problem to me and my husband as we go on holiday here to spend time on the beach Really enjoyed ourselves. Yes rooms were tired, but hey, you only sleep in them. Any niggles, customer services sorted it. Fantastic staff, Maylee in the buffet,Hector and Blanca in the lobby,The gardeners, everybody really. Would we return,..... already booked next year Hotel has gone downhill - We loved this hotel when we visited 5 years ago but we have just returned again we found that the hotel has gone down hill the food is not as good there is no food choice for children. We had to move rooms as our rooms were full of mould . There is nothing for teenagers to do.... I've been to the sol for 5 years running, and me and my family think its amazing. people are friendly and they never forget you, they also love waiting on you hand and foot, making you feel like a star!
