Drapers San B&B comprises of two Jamaican cottage style houses near the sea, surrounded by the colorful lushness where chairs and benches offer the perfect chill areas.
This B&B has seven rooms in total accommodating up to thirteen guests maximum. Including single, double rooms and triple room. Rooms are very bright and colorful and furnished with older Jamaican style furniture.
There are single ($28) and double rooms ($38) with Shower • Refrigerator • Shared bathroom • Ironing facilities • Fan • Toilet • Bathtub or shower • Tile/Marble floor • Dining area • Mosquito net • Wardrobe/Closet • Towels • Linens • Dining table • Outdoor furniture • Toilet paper. The double rooms have garden views.

In addition to breakfast, typical Jamaican dinner or, for true Italian, spaghetti and other Italian dishes are available.
Approximately 4 km from Port Antonio, Draper San offers a family atmosphere and there is always someone willing to provide suggestions and advice. Perfect for nature lovers or anyone seeking contact with the locals as well as a touch of adventure.
Sanku Bay is just a few steps away. This is Drapers local beach where in the early morning you can meet the fishermen and the Jamaicans who love to swim at dawn. Sanku Bay is small but has the most beautiful coral reef of the area. Just a mile away is one of the most famous Jamaican beaches, Frenchmans Cove.
The owners can also arrange tours.
Summary.
The place is located not far from a local bar that plays loud Jamaican reggae music until 2 am. If you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you.
Its also best to book Drapers San with meals as there are not much to eat within the locality unless you plan driving around. This is very much a local Jamaican small village environment where helpfulness and smiles abound and a great place to be comfortable in a country community. Virtually all guests praise the owners for being friendly, helpful and kind. |
