The beautiful sands of Negril's seven Mile Beach are to be found on the southern coast of Negril in Jamaica. The beach is enclosed by over twenty acres of sweet scent laden jasmine trees. Seven Mile Beach is a holistic haven and seaside front location that is ideal for local Jamaicans and tourists. There are numerous water-sports for tourists to the beach such as scuba diving and snorkeling in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. Though families with small children be careful, nudity is popular on this beach.
Both the northern and southern edges of Seven Mile beach are more private and ideal for romantic occasions.
Facing due west, Negril's Seven Mile Beach has been voted many times over as one of the worlds best coastlines. Its beautiful sunsets, silky-smooth white sands, clear blue/turquoise waters, and totally natural environment make it one of Jamaica's must visit places. As Bob Marley might say 'the natural characteristic features of this phenomenal beach is alluring to the soul'.
The coastline itself is sheltered by one of the Caribbeans great reefs, so Negril Bay is frequently tranquil with few high tides, making the entire beach front protected with gentle lapping waters, with a seamless entry from sand to ocean.
There are often beach events showcasing a variety of Caribbean cooking, music and fun that are lively and invigorating. To sit and watch the the beautiful Caribbean sunset over Seven Mile Beach's tranquil waters is truly breathtaking and a reminder of Negril's beaches beauty. View Seven Mile Beach Photo Gallery
